The Big Tree is part 3 of Widdershins, a series of short films by Andrew Struthers originally called Down To The Sea on Drugs, and soon to be compiled into a feature length movie. The films are shot in black and white, and follow the surreal adventures of a cast of characters in a fictionalized documentary purportedly "created on Vancouver Island between 1929 and 1949, and found in a stack of film canisters in the cellar of Craigdarroch Castle."
