Every once in a while, an important historical figure makes an appearance, makes a difference and then disappears. James Teit (1864-1922) spent four decades helping British Columbia’s Indigenous peoples challenge the settler-colonial assault on their lives and lands. Yet his story is little-known. Join Dr Wendy Wickwire for a long-overdue corrective aimed at according Teit the status he deserves: as one of the leading political anthropologists of the 20th century.
