English organist Matthew Brown will perform organ pieces by J.S. Bach, François Couperin, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Jehan Alain, Louis Vierne, and will accompany soprano Rachel Allen of Victoria for two pieces: J.S. Bach’s “Öffne dich, mein ganzes Herz” and Henry Purcell’s “Evening Hymn”.

Matthew, a harpsichordist as well as an organist, is currently reading Music at the University of Bristol, England, and studying harpsichord under Colin Booth. Alongside his studies, he holds the Organ Scholarship at St. Mary Redcliffe Church in Bristol, and has studied organ under David Stratkauskas in Victoria and Claire Alsop in Bristol.
