Event Description
On Saturday, June 1 and Saturday, June 8 at Emily Carr House in Victoria, BC, author Grant Hayter-Menzies will read from and sign copies of his new book, 'Woo, The Monkey Who Inspired Emily Carr: A Biography', in tandem with a week-long exhibition of new paintings by Pockets Warhol, a white-capped capuchin resident at Story Book Farm Primate Sanctuary in Ontario, home to 19 monkeys, survivors of private zoos, the exotic pet trade, and medical testing. For his first west coast show, Pockets has created 12 paintings using colours from Emily Carr's most beloved landscapes. Exhibited with Pockets' work will be his original collaborations with famed artists Anita Kunz and Allen Hirsch. All sales benefit Story Book Farm Primate Sanctuary, the only refuge of its kind in Canada.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
