Dixieland & Swing: CanUS & Jim Armstrong

Event Description

What a combination of special guests we have for you on this afternoon dixieland session at Hermann's Jazz Club. From White Rock, BC Jim Armstrong on trombone and vocals who was also one of the founding members of CanUS and toured North American jazz festivals with us for many years before moving from Victoria. On trumpet, Alfons Fear, one of our favourite guests and Avram McCagherty will add his special banjo and guitar touches. Add to that mix our reed master, Al Pease with Joey Smith on bass and Toni Blodgett at the piano.
