An opera for everyone! Tony-winner and Oscar-nominee Julie Taymor brings this magical recreation of Mozart's The Magic Flute to life complete with dancing bears and giant flamingos! This singspiel (song-play) production is a perfect introduction to opera for the whole family.
Music Director Emeritus James Levine conducts the full-length German version of Mozart’s magical fable, seen in Julie Taymor’s spectacular production, which captures both the opera’s earthy comedy and its noble mysticism.
