Event Description

Adam Dobres is a Canadian guitarist with a sensitive ability to embody many styles of music. In 2016, Adam distilled his inspirations, including Celtic; Folk and Gypsy Jazz, and composed and recorded a self-titled instrumental fingerstyle guitar album. The album is an emotional journey from celebration to melancholy. There are peaceful melodies which uplift the spirit and ambient melodies full of mystery and wonder. Adam has toured the world accompanying celebrated artists including Toni Childs, The Wailin’ Jenny’s and Ruth Moody. A recent highlight was performing with the Ruth Moody band who opened for Mark Knopfler on a European tour.
