Event Description

Following last year's success, the ROMP! Festival welcomes our returning free outdoor program ROMP! IN THE PARK in which audiences are invited to enjoy diverse dance styles in the City of Victoria’s core garden oasis Beacon Hill Park.

Performances are at the Cameron Bandshell (central west side off Douglas Street) a beautiful open-air venue surrounded by gorgeous trees with lots of bench seating and ample space to lay out a picnic blanket.

Victoria's BALLET VICTORIA will perform a suite of contemporary ballet works choreographed by Artistic Director PAUL DESTROOPER.

Guelph's DAVID EARLE will present a work-in-progress product of working as the ROMP! Festival's Artist-in-Residence.

From Seoul, HOYEON KIM will perform with guest dancers Gunwoo Jun and Jungha Lim.

Audiences are encouraged to bring a light sweater.
