One of the busier DJs in Vancouver with monthlies at The Fox Cabaret & 303 Columbia. The last time DJ D.DEE (aka Derek Duncan) played in Victoria was during RIFFLANDIA back in 2013 alongside Anthony Naples, Prison Garde & Koosh at Lucky Bar. Needless to say we are excited to bring him back for a RED DEVIL DISCO.

Free Association are two veteran Canadian DJ’s with a penchant for lighting fires on dance-floors. Together they craft re-edits aimed at feeding adventurous DJ's and dance-floors alike. The duo have three vinyl only releases on their aptly named Free Association label and more to follow. Recent releases have seen the duo with sides on Canadian labels Common Edit and Friendly Monster. Combined the pair have released records on highly esteemed, underground labels Truffle Music, Bastard Jazz, History Clock, Wah Wah 45’s, Do Right Music, BSTRD Boots and PR Records.
With the craft of DJing close to both of the Associates hearts, the two feel that offering less than ordinary material for like-minded selectors is key. Digging for left-of-center disco, boogie, funk, rock, soul, blues, afro, reggae and electronics is ingrained in their way of lives and respecting the source material for their output remains of the utmost importance while catering to DJ's need for mixable records.
Expect the above influences mixed in a hot pot of disco-gumbo that’ll be sure to keep things spiced up for RDD’s disco deviant dancers.
