Event Description

Rebecca is a singer-songwriter from Victoria, BC. She grew up in a small town – Rossland – in the mountains of BC’s West Kootenay region; her music is infused with echoes of her past, woven with stories of present struggles and hopeful themes of life, love, and finding one’s voice. She has a voice that draws attention and provides the perfect canvas for her moving lyrics.

Rebecca’s debut EP, “My War,” was recorded at Oak Recording Studio in Toronto and released in July 2014. The short album is a summary of her struggles with anxiety and depression and the loss of her father. The album sets raw emotion to music and offers listeners the chance to embrace struggle and feel the beauty of hope.
