The Ruffled Feathers are known for their combination of haunting female vocals, carefully crafted harmonies, multi-instrumentation, and brazen horns. Taking inspiration from the likes of Beirut, The Arcade Fire, and Belle and Sebastian, the band weaves fables of revolution, love stories, and cities away from home. Listeners expecting conventional guitar-driven indie-pop will find themselves swept into complex arrangements of trumpets and mandolins instead.
The group is preparing for the release of the new EP in early 2014 and looking forward to what is to come.

The Horde and the Harem is a collective of musicians from across the country who have all gravitated towards the mystique of the lush Pacific Northwest. Ryan Barber, the founding member, started the project in 2009 as a way to record songs that had been lingering from previous bands that never quite fit those acts. Pulling together other Seattle transplants and West Coast natives, the band formed and self-released their debut EP "Harvest". Following that they toured relentlessly and gained momentum along the way. KEXP soon put their music into rotation which then landed the band spots at festivals such as Bumbershoot, Capitol Hill Block Party and Northwest Folklife.
Recording on their new album has wrapped up and the upcoming album will be released April 2014.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
