ROY ALBERT GREEN
Roy Green was born in the Year of the Dog in Lethbridge, Alberta. He is a painter, poet and performance artist based in Victoria. As a self-taught painter Green likens his work to channel-surfing with a paintbrush, incorporating found objects, symbols and text, chance and coincidence, spontaneity and improvisation into a form of urban folk-art.
