Event Description

In the early 1900s, exploring Antarctica was a little like traveling to the dark face of the moon. In celebration of the exhibition, "Race to the End of the Earth" at the Royal BC Museum, join Tim Willis on a journey to the harshest place on earth. Tim will tell the story of the epic race between Amundsen and Scott to reach the South Pole, and talk about his personal connection to the story.
