Like many pagan festivities, no one is really sure who made up Beltain, (the Celts? the Teutons?) what you're supposed to do (dance around a pole? light massive fires?) or when you're supposed to celebrate (May 1st? 15th? when the local hawthorn trees bloom?)
As cultureless moderns, we've decided to big up Beltain May 15th, from 2pm til late. Join us at the corners of BELmont and haulTAIN for a BBQ and art sale with work donated by Michael Comeau, Jo Cook & Wesley Mulvin of Perro Verlag Books and international rock n roll witch art stars, FASTWURMS.
Celebrate spring fever at really the best art sale yet. Starts at 2pm.
