Late show: Mid Week Crisis presents Daisy Blue Gröff, Sarah Wheeler, and Eirene Cloma
Daisy Blue Groff -
Singer, lyricist, and songsmith Daisy Blue Gröff is best known for her band Painting Daisies, prairie dogs and prairie gods of the Canadian music scene for over a decade.
Extensive touring brought the group through Canada, Iceland, Holland, Germany, and the US. Their first album “Flambescence” won an ARIA award for Best Folk Album and their second release "Fortissimo" earned them Entertainers of the Year (Nickelback, Jann Arden and Wide Mouth Mason were fellow nominees) at the Prairie Music Awards.
Selected from 4,000 other acts, the Daisies won CBC’s Great Canadian Music Dream (Nominated for a Gemini Award) and went on to release a third album "Phonography", produced by Grammy-Nominated Joby Baker.

Eirene Cloma -
Eirene Cloma is a multi-genre musician from North Vancouver, BC.
She is primarily a guitarist with a classical, Latin, and jazz background.
Alongside a large musicianship, she is an army Reservist who has deployed twice, a business student, a community radio programmer, and an avid supporter of solidarity work and anti-oppression work.
