Event Description
The six-century choral repertoire is vast – surely the greatest in all of music, and conductor Jon Washburn always finds a wide range of choral favourites and discoveries when planning the program for the Choir's annual Canadian tour. This year’s program – called A Cappella Panorama – includes Mozart, Schubert, Palestrina, Rutter, the two Stephens (Chatman and Foster) and much more. It’s a veritable treasure-house of delights for choral aficionados, delivered with grace, panache and humour by the professional singers of Canada's finest chamber choir, joined for several pieces by their associate ensemble, Pacifica Singers.
