DANHA started when Vocalist Danny Danha met Guitarist Andrew Gerard. The two songwriters hit it off immediately, like long lost brothers. Danny and AG were at the exact same point in their musical career and had identical thoughts on music they wanted to create and the music industry itself.
After months of writing and recording with 604 Records Producer Danny Craig, who immediately took an interest in DANHA, the album was shown to the world famous Mike Fraser who instantly decided he wanted to mix the music. As soon as the album finished , the boys began the hunt for the perfect line up for the band.
After many auditions, they fixed their sites on Paul J Hermann. Paul was not only the style of drummer they were searching for, but embodied the same quirky attitude, and sense of fun that Danny and Andrew shared. The last piece of the puzzle came when bassist Dan Esterreicher entered the scene, Dan was playing with another band down the hall at the studio, and it was an instant fit. They were now a complete band.
Today, DANHA has appeared on National TV/Radio performing their first single “24 Hours” that climbed to #1 on the Independent Music Network Charts for NYC-LA in just 6 weeks. DANHA has been putting together their live showcase and preparing for a Canadian Tour to promote their debut album that is expected to release late in 2012.
