Event Description
A still and peaceful night, a fragrant summer evening, the metamorphosis of the sky at dusk...The luminous moon, the shimmering stars, the mysterious shadows...The night has long enticed and inspired poets and composers alike. Join soprano Tracy Satterfield and pianist David Bergeron for an evening of exquisite and sensual songs embodying night's luscious embrace. Featuring Claude Debussy's settings of Charles Baudelaire, Richard Strauss' Brentano Lieder and select songs by Samuel Barber, Claude Vivier and Sergei Rachmaninoff.
