I’m the guy behind East Van Digital and Fresh Baked DJs; dropping tunes since ’98 and a Shambhala resident DJ since ’04, I’ve played many a memorable set in the legendary Fractal Forest. For 3 years I hosted The Shakedown radio show and with the Liquidbeat collective, and helped produce some of the B.C. interior’s most inspiring parties. Currently, I’m a resident DJ with Intimate Productions, who maintained the long running night SiGNAL Saturdays at the former Lotus Sound Lounge in Vancouver. I play what I think is best for the moment; I’m a pretty obsessive collector of music with a deep library and a fond love of programming. Bassline. Breaks. Electro. Fidget. Funky House. Vinyl, cd’s, Ableton, Serato…I use them all. Aggressive Driving Electro Twist Step is how Steve Velocity describes his sound. With 9 years of experience rocking bars, clubs, all night parties, music festivals, and every other type of event under the Sun, from him you can expect nothing but an energizing and elevating musical ride. He has also DJ'd in every major city across Western Canada. His original tracks and remixes are receiving DJ support from accalimed international artists Far Too Loud, Run Riot, Samples, Subvert, Knight Riderz, Bassnectar, and Jay Cunning to name a few. His tracks have been released on several labels including Big Fish, Audio Planet Recordings, and Epidemic Recordings. This posts his name up alongside artists such as Porter Robinson, Zedd, Lazy Rich, Alex Mind, Lucky Date, and Soulfix/Dirty Politics. His remix of Botnek's 'If You Wanna' was also selected for the "Best Of Big Fish" music compilation. Expect to see Steve Velocity continue to run alongside the best in the industry.

Ben Chemikal (real name Ben Hodding), was born and raised in Duncan BC, and constantly surrounded by music from a young age. After several years of piano lessons, he went on to play guitar, drums, and any other instrument that was just.. lying around. It wasn't long until Ben found himself amongst a Vancouver island rave, and saw some Electronic DJing first hand. That was all it took to get him hooked on the idea of collecting his own vinyl records, and perfecting the art of the mix. Buying up Nuskool breakbeats and Drum and Bass at first, it was several months before he got into Speed Garage, 4x4, and 2 Step, which remain to be his signature styles. Shortly after that, Ben started producing his own Bassline 4x4 tracks, and after tons of bootleg remixes and originals, got signed to Bassment Projex, FX Logiks new digital bassline lable, as well as Nu Industry Recordings, which aims to bring out the filthiest electro, fidget and bassline sounds around, both in late 2008. Recently Ben has broadened his styles in his live sets to include Dubstep, Funky Breaks, Hip Hop and Glitch, guaranteeing his listeners a plethora of genres, original tracks, live mash ups.... and a good time.

Palletz (DJs In A Box-Zone PHactor-Victoria Dubstep) has been hittin the bass scene with with serious noise since late 2010. Starting out with none other than Dubstep, he's rounded his sound into a mash of Dub, Dnb, Electro & even Funk into his bass heavy show. Combing forces with his partner in BassCrimes (MrMacHimself), They form "The GoodfellaZ", who have been taking the west coast by storm rocking crowds everywhere they go! It wasn't long before Palletz found himself rocking the airwaves on New Zealand Radio (fevah fm), playing with names like Mark Instinct, Stylust & Emotionz, Yan Zombie, Soulfix, Bass Invaderz & Hirshee to name a few. Taking place in festivals including "JumpShip" & "Sound Clash Of The Titans 2011"With his high volume of multiple genres, you never really know just what he is about to bring out. One thing you do know is that no matter what he pulls out next you know that it will be bass heavy! That being said, Be ready for anything when this guy takes over!
