Sounds of the Solar System: David Hickey

Event Description

A musical and vibrational journey through our solar system with 10 Paiste Planet Gongs, Quartz Crystal Bowls and Vibraphone.

Based in Mount Hope, Ontario, David Hickey performs with 17 Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls, each produces a pure note or tone, the purest there is, you have to hear them to believe it. I play them in combination with 10 Paiste Gongs and Vibraphone. Each gong features a strong fundamental note tuned to represent a natural harmonic series based on the orbital properties of the Sun, the Earth, the Moon and the other planets.
