Mezzo-soprano Cecilia Bartoli live in concert. Bartoli makes one of her rare North American visits in a recital celebrating her most recent Decca recording, MARIA -- A portrait of 19th century superstar soprano Maria Malibran. Cecilia Bartoli is widely credited with popularizing opera in North America through her tours - the program will include works by Maria Malibran as well as by many of the composers for whom Malibran served as muse, including Bellini, Donizetti, Rossini, Viardot, and Garcia.
