At the outset of the pandemic—a year after her finalist performance at the YGK Emerging Musician Competition showcase with musical partner, Michael Broadhead—Kingston jazz-folk artist, Savannah Shea set music aside. After a period of personal reflection and personal relationships, Shea returned to music in 2021, releasing the stripped-down EP, The Day Of, and most recently, a three-song EP, Winter Magnolia, that exposes her expanded sonic palette.
