Born a Canadian-Estonian, Laine (Lie-Na) translates into wave. Like an ocean wave, never giving up ebbing and flowing with the currents I live to keep evolving. As a child I performed in choirs and as a soloist receiving strong vocal training for several years. Eventually, I learned acoustic guitar to accompany my singing. Influences include Joni Mitchell, The Indigo Girls and Paul Simon.
