
Applications open for the IMAGINE Arts Incubator at the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts
The Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts at Queen’s University is reminding artists that applications for the IMAGINE Arts Incubator program close on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.
The IMAGINE Arts Incubator supports the creative development of professional performing artists who are exploring new ideas, collaborations, and forms of expression. The program offers selected participants dedicated time, space, and support to advance their artistic projects within the inspiring environment of the Isabel.
Who Can Apply
Performing artists working in any musical genre are eligible to apply. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and be Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada.
Program Focus Areas
Artists are encouraged to propose projects that include:
- creation-based residencies, filming/recording/streaming of original works
- socially engaged arts initiatives addressing contemporary issues
- creative placemaking and community-based arts engagement
- cross-disciplinary and intercultural collaborations grounded in Indigenization - Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Anti-Black Racism and Accessibility (I-EDIAA) frameworks.
Successful applications will be announced on Friday, December 19, 2025.
