Nancy Walt

Nancy is a mixed media artist working with collage, acrylic paints and other water-based media. She has taken formal and informal art courses and continues to evolve her skills. Much of her artwork would be described as abstract collage, but she also produces whimsical portraits. She incorporates bold colours, texture, and abstract mark making into her work. For satisfying results, she especially loves to paint, print and dye collage papers with the gelli plate. Aside from painting, she has many interests such as journal making and working with textiles. Nancy belongs to several Victoria area art groups and is one of the organizers for the Saanich Scattered Artists Tour.
