Fine Country Music (FCM) is a studio project created by Kingston, Ontario-based Evan Massey and is his debut as a solo artist. If you can imagine travelling back in time to a 1970’s rock concert and sliding a pedal steel player on stage, you might get a sense of the FCM sound. Massey sets a warm and trembling vocal redolent of Billy Joel’s emotionful croon over dreamy bends of the pedal steel, swooping, melodic guitar solos that are near-orchestral, and drumlines influenced by his days as a metalhead to produce a sonic experience that is truly one-of-a-kind.
If it were biologically possible for Sturgill Simpson, Tchaikovsky, AC/DC, Brad Paisley, Paul Franklin, Electric Light Orchestra, and Thin Lizzy to have a lovechild, that child would be called Fine Country Music. With full composition, lyrical, performance, and production credits on the project, whether Massey is hyper-independent to a fault, wildly talented, or a total control freak is up for debate.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
