Renowned German bassist Torsten Müller has made Vancouver his home and has become a valued collaborator in our vibrant creative music scene. A great improviser who expands the sonic possibilities of his instrument through extended techniques, Müller has played with trombonist Gunter Christman since the late ’70s. Here he heads an improvising quartet made up of the brilliant cellist Peggy Lee, Norwegian drummer Paal Nilssen-Love (Sten Sandell Trio), and British saxophonist John Butcher.
