Rockets Red Glare

Rockets Red Glare formed in the winter of 1999, when members' previous groups Blake and Blue Light Blockade were committed unto the murky depths of Toronto's suburban hardcore bog. RRG have toured North America several times in support of their previous two releases (S/T 7" on Die!...Venom Records, S/T Full Length on Sick Room Records), both of which have been met with critics' praise. RRG adhere to a hierarchy of form that approaches songcraft as medium of pure expression. RRG promote the idea of a dynamic and progressive music community for Toronto. Members of RRG augment their activities with participation in other musical pursuits, contributing in various capacities to Burn Rome in a Dream (formerly Holding Pattern), the Jim Guthrie Band, Sea Snakes, Picastro, and the Aaron Booth Band. Moonlight Desires is RRG's second album, released June 12, 2003 by Blue Skies Turn Black.
