The Briggs
Label: Disaster Records
In your face, hard hitting, oi-coated punk rock, that is rough and right off the streets. Duane Peters of the U.S. Bombs has said "The Briggs are fucking the best new LA band I've heard yet" and it's no wonder. The band is fronted by twobrothers, and the tightness and the unity of the band is quite evident throughout "Numbers". The album opens with an anthem called "3rd World War" which is your classic street punk hymn followed by explosive tracks like "Face Off", "Red Alert", and more. From Rancid to Social D to Cock Sparrer, this bands influences are evident and make for one hell of a combination. Duane Peters was behind the controls of "Numbers" helping make the album as tight as it came out.
