Beija Flor

Beija Flor is a four piece music group that does not pledge allegiance to any genre flag. Coming together in May of 2003, Beija Flor set out to create haunting epics that pull inspiration from all genres, including roots, eastern European, rock, country folk, brit pop, electronic, bosa nova etc. By creating original music that pushes the envelope while retaining catchy hooks and dance numbers, Beija Flor has been successful in creating a hum in and around the Canadian scene. Their debut release "The Quite One and The Lonely One" has experienced much success, and Beija Flor hopes to achieve even greater success with the release of there sophomore album "The American" available from Vulpine Records in Winter 2006/2007.
