Dave Jensen

Extensive music career covering a variety of sounds, from hard to mellow rock to musical theatrics, but always with the same passion. Originally from Victoria, I took my music career to Vancouver, then eventually Toronto, where I hooked up with many of the hottest musicians of the time including Marianne Faithful's guitarist Joe Mavety. Playing with bands such as Draco and Kickback, I toured extensively through central Canada, with stints in Detroit, New York and Los Angeles. Lead singer/co-songwriter for the band Scandal, whose material was produced by Jack Richardson among others. In addition to signing with GRT Records (Chess Records) and releasing four singles under Quality Records, I played the lead in a Tibor Takacs film and subsequent play, Metal Messiah, with band Kickback (Ian Creighton, subsequent Saga guitarist) providing the soundtrack.
Moved back to Victoria and played with the band Fugitive doing covers (pearl jam, nirvana, collective soul etc)until I needed the original fix again and formed one2many. Project has resulted in a CD and ongoing original work - but now looking to get back on stage, doing what I do best!
