Suns of Static

Suns of Static has been a name floating around Kingston since 2009, but it wasn’t until near the end of 2022 that the current roster solidified.

Their lineup consists of Mike Brown: Lead vocals; Bill Cassidy: Guitars and vocals; Alex Topping: Bass; John Callahan: Drums and vocals

Treat them with snacks, drinks, and some good old beer tickets and you’ll hear vocals historically heavily influenced by Alice In Chains, and guitar riffs and rhythm section that have a bit of a Soundgarden flair.

Echoes

Echoes are a newish band to the Kingston scene and are making waves with their indie alternative rock originals and perfectly curated covers.

Joey McWilliams; Lead vocals, Ben Webb; Guitar, Vocals, Josh Lees; Guitar, Austin Friend, Bass + Vocals & Jason Goettler on drums, together have created a sound similar to early Incubus leaving listeners captivated by their dynamic sound and powerful lyrics.

Vivienne Wilder

Vivienne Wilder can be best described as Bubble Grunge. Sourcing inspiration in sound from Joy Division, The Cure, Lana Del Rey and Romeo Void, her Grungy melodic rock-outs alternating between heartbreak and trailer park fuck-off energy is commonly backed up by Gordon Hyland on sax, Tom Juhas on guitar, and Neil Macintosh on drums.

Patrons of her live shows can expect lots of psychedelic space-outs featuring some virtuosic guitar and sax. Deadpan delivery rife with non sequiturs. The Animal of the Day!
