Further details on the survey (as provided by the City of Kingston) as follows:
The City of Kingston is developing a comprehensive and artist-centred Music Strategy to help realize the full benefits of a thriving local music industry.
We are calling on Kingston residents, especially musicians, those who work in the music industry, and anyone who loves and appreciates music, to take part in a brief Public Survey. Responses will help us gain a better understanding of the community’s thoughts, experiences, and vision, and will be used to shape the Kingston Music Strategy.
The survey questionnaire will be a key method to collect both qualitative data on music’s contribution to the social and cultural fabric of Kingston, as well as fill gaps in quantitative data for an economic impact assessment. Please note that all questions are mandatory in order to complete the survey.
People who live, study, work, and/or play in or near Kingston are encouraged to complete this survey.
