Kingston Circus Arts founder, Erin Ball, has launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise much-needed money to transition the operation to a "…a more central, more accessible space."

According to the GoFundMe page (web link), the organization was surprised and saddened to find out they were losing their current home at 1377 Midland Avenue in Kingston's west end, and need to move out by October 1, 2023. With the campaign, Kingston Circus Arts is hoping to raise $100,000 to help secure a new space, and offset costs for moving and reinstalling necessary equipment, adding accessibility features, rigging and structural engineer costs, and a few others, including taxes.

"This is an unexpected situation and we’re asking for financial support from the community to help keep Kingston Circus Arts open in another accessible space," reads the statement on the GoFundMe page.

If Kingston Circus Arts is unable to secure a new space is not found by September 25th, 2023, the funds raised may have to be used to cover costs for storage until a new home can be found.

Their statement also explains that they are "…searching for a space with at least 20 feet high ceilings near central Katarokwi/Kingston that is accessible by public transportation," and have asked the public to contact them with any leads.
