YGK Craft Beer Fest returns to National Historic Site in Kingston
The
St. Lawrence Parks Commission is once again hosting the
YGK Craft Beer Fest at Fort Henry on June 10, 2023. The annual, all-ages and licensed waterfront celebration of sun, scenic views, suds and live music will run from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the grounds of the historic stronghold, built between 1832 and 1837. Tickets go on sale April 26, and can be purchased in advance

In addition to the full afternoon
lineup of live music performances—hosted by
Rowena Whey and
Tyffanie Morgan—this year's YGK Craft Beer Fest includes games and photo ops as guests experience gourmet food truck vendors, artisan vendors and beverage vendors serving up beer, cider and other special offerings.
New, Expanded Space Offers New Experience
This year, YGK Craft Beer Fest will rock a new super-sized area of Fort Henry, at the East Park area of the grounds. Double the event space offers flatter, more accessible ground and tree-shaded spaces sweeten the waterfront views.

Also new this year, the 19+ ‘Hopped Up’ ticket offers a premium way to experience YGK Craft Beer Fest, including access to fast-entry line, Great Hall indoor lounge and patio, indoor washrooms, complimentary snacks and artisanal sodas, and an exclusive token stand to beat the lines.
An All-Ages and Licensed Event
Attendees of any age are permitted to the festival, with children under 5 years old admitted free. Coloured wristbands will be used to identify those of legal drinking age (ID required). Tickets can be purchased with and without drink tokens. Amey’s Taxi will have a designated pick-up area at YGK Craft Beer Fest. As an organization that has put health and safety at the forefront of everything it does, St. Lawrence Parks Commission (SLPC) is committed to ensuring the safe service of alcohol at Fort Henry.
In Support of Partners in Mission Food Bank
Guests to YGK Craft Beer Fest are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items in support of
Partners in Mission Food Bank. Most needed items include pasta sauce, stewed and canned tomatoes, canned meat and fish, 100% fruit juice, peanut butter, cereal, baby food, diapers and monetary donations.
New local community partnerships will see all aluminium cans from YGK Craft Beer Fest recycled by Novelis Inc. to support Habitat for Humanity Kingston Limestone Region in building safe and affordable housing in the Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox, and Addington regions.
